I am working on (finally) getting a SEO blog in English up but I am not sure which domain I should use for it. So I was hoping you might help me by taking a vote below – or add a comment if you have other suggestions.

Sorry I had to put this voting on my Danish blog – the English blog is not up yet :)

  1. Damn, hard to decide! Most of them are pretty good :-)

I finally decided on DoBeEvil.com, ’cause doesn’t that seem to me your brand/catch-phrase these days?

I would only use blog.demib.com, if the main site was in English also.

SEOpunk.com is also good, rather than the other way around (punkSEO.com). But good luck getting those domains.

    God weekend. :-)

  4. I really like punkseo.com because a lot of your blog posts are a bit alternative minded (no offence :)). You could also go for blog.demib.com but I think it’s a shame however that the content on the main domain is in Danish. I would definately not use blog.www.demib.dk because of the TLD and because you already have this blog in Danish.

But what about blogging on Joblr? I guess that a lot of your visitors there would be interested in reading an SEO blog.

  5. SEOPopStar.com and PunkSEO.com are both pretty decent domains! I’m just wondering why you’re even considering blog.deMib.dk and blog.deMib.com. That’s just too plain and boring :)

How about deMib.me or deMib.edu? Haha. Or deMibinator.com, lol.

  6. > C’mon Mikkel – you know better than that…why start over with a subdomain?

As part of my organic tail gating strategies multiple domains has actually worked pretty well for me – and building a resonably good rank for a new subdomain on a well established domain I really don’t find that hard :)

Also, I don’t really have any good sites running in English about SEO where it would be logical to add my blog in a subfolder.

And finally – setting the new blog up on a new domain just makes everything so much easier in terms of selecting publishing platform (probably WordPress) and hosting for my blog. Most of my Danish sites are hosted here in Denmark, but I’d like the english blog to be hosted in the US for better performance on the US side …

Anyway, haven’t decided yet – so keep voting and adding your comments. Much appreciated :)

  7. Demib. You wrote: “Most of my Danish sites are hosted here in Denmark, but I’d like the english blog to be hosted in the US for better performance on the US side”

Wasn’t it in the old days that you had a difference in performance? It would seem a decent webhost in Denmark could be just as good as having one in the US. Decent in the sense of actually PERFORMING on a 24*7 level… :-)
